Vertical Machining Center (VMC) Description
The Vertical Machining Center (VMC) remains the staple of the machining workshop. These milling machines have vertically oriented spindles that approach the workpiece mounted on their table from above and usually perform 2.5-axis or 3-axis machining operations. Compared with the horizontal machining center (HMC), their cost is lower, which makes it more suitable for small workshops and large processing workshops.
